Lessons are available to both members and non-members seven days a week by prior arrangement through the Pro Shop.
The tuition received during a lesson aims to work with an individual's abilities, level of fitness, strength and flexibility.
Lessons can be held on the driving range where hitting in repetition allows alterations to a swing to develop into a more natural and instinctive movement.
There is also a putting green and two bunkers on the range to enable all aspects of the game to be examined and worked through.
We are very fortunate to have a purpose built studio, housing an Explaner and two practice nets. In one room there is a computer and camera system that runs the GASP Swing Analysis software. It enables the teacher to freeze frame your swing on a computer screen leading quickly to establish your strengths and weaknesses, highlighting the areas that need attention.
Knowledge and skills developed in lessons can then be applied to the course itself. An essential area of the game that is often overlooked is course mangement. A lesson on the course whereby the teacher walks aroung with you provides the opportunity to examine club-selection and course specific techniques such as tight lies and the chip & run shot.
